MAVAMed Solution for Fungal Nails is a medical device that treats fungal nail infections (Onychomycosis).
Its “Instant Killer” complex stops the development of fungus in a few seconds, thus preventing its spread to other nails and the brush. It is composed of tea tree oil (inhibits the development of fungal filaments), a mixture of essential oils - lavender, eucalyptus - and lactic acid (reduces the pH of the nail to create an environment unfavorable to fungus) and urea (allows the active ingredients to better penetrate the horny plate).

This product also acts as a physical barrier, thus preventing the transmission of the mycosis.
It is intended for external use and for topical application to the horny nail plate only.

Directions for use:

Before applying MAVAMed Solution for Fungal Nails, remove all traces of manicure and wash the infected area with soap and water, then dry completely.
Using the brush, apply the product twice a day (morning and evening) to form a transparent film on the infected nail.
Leave the treated area exposed to the air for a few moments, then cover the treated nail with a bandage for greater effectiveness before putting on socks or shoes.
It is important to continue using this antifungal until the infection is completely cleared and the healthy nail has grown back. This can take several months (remember, a toenail grows back completely between 9 and 12 months).
However, if no improvement is observed after 3 months, you should consult a doctor.

CONTRAINDICATIONS: Do not use MAVAMed Solution for Fungal Nails in the following cases: known allergy to one or more of the ingredients; if there are any doubts about the use of this antifungal and/or to know if it is possible to use it in combination with other medications, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

WARNINGS: For external use only.

Keep out of reach of children. Not suitable for children under 18 years. Do not use after expiration date.
Pregnant or breastfeeding women should not use this product.

SIDE EFFECTS: To date, no side effects following the use of this antifungal solution have been noted.
However, if you experience any adverse reactions, stop using this antifungal immediately and consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Prevention - There are some precautions you can take to reduce the risk of infection:
Wear sandals in public areas such as swimming pools.
Wear well-ventilated shoes and preferably wool or cotton socks to avoid humidity.
Do not wear someone else's shoes and do not use nail clippers, nail scissors, bath towels and cosmetic products for someone else's nails.
Dry your feet thoroughly after showering, playing sports or swimming.
