Rosidal Sys from Lohmann & Rauscher laboratories is a compression kit specifically designed to treat venous ulcers or ulcers with a predominantly venous component. A type of wound that is particularly difficult to heal, an ulcer develops from a simple lesion on areas of the body where venous return is slowed down or even obstructed, such as the leg in particular. Unable to evacuate the toxins resulting from their metabolism and poorly oxygenated, the tissue cells become necrotic and aggravate the lesion. Rosidal Sys applies decreasing pressure from the toes to the knee in order to reduce the caliber of the veins and thus improve the flow of blood circulation. It helps to reduce edema and blood stagnation conducive to the formation of phlebitis .

This kit consists of several elements:

• 1 dispenser of TG jersey tubing , made of 67% bleached cotton and 33% viscose, which forms the first layer directly put on the leg like a sock.
• 4 pieces of Rosidal Soft polyurethane foam padding strip that wraps over the tubing to provide a layer of softness and comfort.
• 4 copies of a 100% cotton Rosidal K compression bandage that rolls up in the same way as the previous bandage and provides full compression.
• 1 Mollelast Haft cohesive fixation strip intended to fix Rosidal Soft and Rosidal K at the calf level
• 1 adhesive tape to reinforce the attachment points at the top and bottom of the leg.

A medical device, this Rosidal SYS kit must be applied by qualified healthcare personnel. Rosidal K and Soft strips can be reused after washing.
